IPL Scandal: BCCI probe panel termed
illegal by High Court.
The Bombay High Court (HC) has termed BCCI's probe panel
-that investigated the IPL spot fixing scam- as illegal and unconstitutional.
This decision by HC is seen as a major set back for N. Srinivasan who was set to
return as BCCI President on the basis of the probe panel's
findings.

BCCI's probe panel set up by the cricket control body to
look into the allegations of spot fixing in the IPL season had virtually gave a
clean chit to N. Srinivasan's son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan. The Mumbai Police
arrested Meiyappan in the spot fixing case after he was named by one of the
co-accused Vindoo Dara Singh.
