India start 2015 World Cup against Pakistan,
final on March 29.
India will
launch their title defence against traditional rivals Pakistan in Adelaide,
while New Zealand face Sri Lanka in Christchurch and Australia meet England in
Melbourne on the opening day of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 to be jointly hosted
by Australia and New Zealand from February 14 to March 29.
India, who won
the 2011 edition of the World Cup after a gap of 28 years have been grouped with
South Africa, Pakistan, West Indies, Zimbabwe and Ireland and a yet to be
decided Qualifier 4. The No.1 ranked ODI team would take on Pakistan on February
15 and South Africa on February 22, followed by Qualifier 4 in Perth on February
28, West Indies in Perth on March 6, Ireland in Hamilton on March 10 and
Zimbabwe on March 14.
