Jammu,  Eleven people were killed in heavy firing between the security forces and infiltrators in Jammu and Kashmir which restarted Friday. The gunfight has now ended, ahead of prime minister’s visit to the state, officials said.

Information Technology Minister Kapil Sibal hit out at Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi alleging that the Gujarat Chief Minister needs to do a fact finding check before he delivers a speech and challenged him for an open debate on any matter.
