Shah Rukh Khan is known to churn out fresh ideas in terms of promotional strategies to keep his films top-of-the-mind till their release. This time, as a memoir to mark the completion of his project, he got the makers to capture behind-the-scenes footage of the final day’s shoot of Chennai Express.
The video featuring Shah Rukh will be available on social media from today (July 11). Co-star Deepika Padukone and director Rohit Shetty have already released their videos about 15-20 days ago. They have received a good response on Twitter.
“I wanted the audience to realise that if it was so much fun making it, it will be so much fun watching it too. Also, I think makings should come before the film’s release and this was the best way to present it on social media, where everyone understands a bit of humour and energy and sees it for what it is — fun,” says Shah Rukh.
